Between 2018 and 2021, the majority of the tertiary education students in Algeria graduated with a degree in business administration, social science, arts and humanities, and engineering. Collectively, these fields comprised around 70 percent of all the graduates. Services and education programs were less popular among tertiary-level students, averaging approximately three percent of the total number of graduates.
